Had nice if cold couple of hours in York today, just as it was getting dark. I've just got my Sony NEX-7 back, so was keen to play some more.
I found the only issue with this type of camera in night shooting is that if you're using a long shutter speed, rather than high ISO, there isn't enough light for the LCD viewfinder (good as it is on the Sony). You can bump the ISO up easily in order to frame and focus, but exposure is more hit and miss.
Still, that's what it's about - experimentation. I find night shoots interesting in their unpredictable.
